About
The ISO/IEC 18598 standard for Automated Infrastructure Management (AIM) system defines it as an “integrated hardware and software system that automatically detects the insertion or removal of cords, documents the cabling infrastructure including connected equipment enabling management of the infrastructure and data exchange with other systems.” This standard acknowledges the critical importance that AIM technology plays, with its varied and powerful capabilities from connectivity management to integration with external systems, and processes in the planning, administration, and growth of enterprise networks.

In this webinar, we will provide a detailed review of the ISO/IEC 18598 (AIM) standard, highlight AIM references in several major cabling and data center standards, discuss business benefits from customers using AIM systems, and explore how the adoption of AIM systems can facilitate continual contributions towards corporate sustainability objectives.
