About
There is a growing need to support edge and security devices over structured cabling systems, and the challenge posed by 100-meter standards limit of copper cabling.
There are traditional methods to go beyond 100 meters, such as adding telecom rooms or using inline copper PoE extender which can be costly, complex, or reduce performance.
As a result, there is a need for novel solutions to go beyond 100 meters for data and PoE power delivery. In this presentation, we highlight GigaREACH™ XL CAT6 cable for extended copper distances (up to ~250 m) and FiberREACH™ for much longer runs using hybrid fiber and power cables.

We will also cover Constellation, a fault managed power solution that delivers both data and significant power over long distances, enabling more efficient infrastructure for modern smart buildings and IoT deployments.

This event qualifies for .5 BICSI Continuing Education Credit following 30 minutes of participation.
